2. Do you have a large percentage of out-of-town guests?
Hotels are typically able to offer significant discounts on room nights for your guests if you’re also using their function space.
3. Would you describe yourself as a traditionalist?
Ballrooms typically include your basics like tables, chair, white or ivory linens. If you’re drawn to more traditional design this can be the perfect canvas to start with.
4. Do you plan to host other weekend events?
If you know you want to have a welcome party and/or farewell brunch a hotel is typically happy to work with you and offer competitive pricing for these additional events.
5. Are you terrified of rain on your wedding day?
Most often ballrooms are insulated from the weather. If the idea of having to shift your plans due to rain gives you anxiety a ballroom could be a great option for you.
