Wedding Colors For 2019

Does it feel like the second after you were engaged people starting asking you what your wedding colors are?

What is that?

Take a breath. I think your wedding colors can wait.

First, you have to decide where you’re getting married, then when and what you want your day to feel like.

I spend a lot of time talking about feelings (somewhere my T-love is rolling his eyes because with two toddlers in our house there are a lot of feelings every day!)

What I mean is what vibe do you want to create? What do you want your guests to walk away saying about your day?

Even if your parents are generously paying for the wedding I want you to think about it as the first party you’re throwing as a married couple.

I actually think your wedding colors will start to take shape as you look at invitation options. Your invitation is something tangible you can see and hold which makes it and the whole color conversation so much more real.

Take a screen grab of the images you pinned and upload them to this color picker. It will pull the colors from the image and give you a color chart. Play with different images and once you find a chart you like, you have found your wedding colors. The color picker tool even offers suggestions if your images just aren’t speaking to you.
