July 4th Party Ideas

July 4th is my T-Love’s favorite holiday.

In his mind there is zero expectation. No one has to brine, bast and roast a Turkey. No one has to buy presents. No one has to come up with a creative costume idea. It’s just pure fun.

In honor of my T-love here are our July 4th Party Ideas:

To Eat

Ribs Off The Grill. This recipe from The New York Times is great. I’m going to be totally honest, to keep things super simple I order our July 4th ribs from my favorite rib joint in Naples Florida, Michelbobs. I grew up going here with my grandparents and swear by their tulip-fed pigs.

Ice cream sandwiches. One year I made own. They were pretty delicious but kinda a pain to make and keep cold. This year I’m doing store-bought ice cream sandwiches and dipping in red/white/blue sprinkles to make festive and easy.

To Drink

If ever there is a day for jello shots it’s this holiday. I love these gorgeous Berry Creations.

To Dance

On the 4th of July you need a great Beach/Pool Playlist you can listen to all day. This holiday can be a marathon. I started one for you here.

For The Kids

I’m going to attempt to make these Fire-Cracker Party Favors. Our kiddos love to get to stay up late and watch the fireworks. These could be a great way to pass the time until it gets dark enough to set them off.
