I want to know who came up with this idea so I can write them an old fashioned Thank You note!
It’s not so much that you “need” an extravagant trip right after the wedding (although you’ll totally feel like you do) it’s how much you’ll cherish it that is AMAZING! Go somewhere outside of your comfort zone or that is further than you’ve ever been before. Life will be waiting for you when you get back, I promise.
In the spirit of honeymoon talk and summer around the corner, today I’m sharing:
Avon Skin So Soft – this old time oil seems to keep the green head flies away better than anything else I’ve tried. Don’t ask me why.
Weleda Skin Food – My favorite moisturizer. I don’t use it all over my face. Just around my eyes and cheek bones as a natural highlight and on my lips if they’re feeling dry. Also, great for kids who have dry pool skin.
Wet Brush – To get even the most tangled hair under control
Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray – For those beach waves we try to recreate all year. I fail miserably!
Fresh Fruit – Cherries are my favorite!
Waterproof Speaker – I can’t live without music
Blue Lizard Sunscreen – This stuff is thick but works better than anything else I’ve every tried on pale pale skin
Bollicino Sparkling Rose – These things MAKE my beach day
Turkish Beach Towel – No more thick terry cloth beach towels for me. They weigh a ton and take forever to dry.

The truth is I hated planning my own wedding. I felt like I was going it alone and was surprised by how hard it was to find partners who embraced my vision. Thankfully, the guy was worth it and that experience is what led me to become a wedding planner. After a decade of planning luxury weddings I am bringing my process to you.
