The Savoy Daisy
The Savoy Daisy is a classic cocktail with a London twist. Traditionally, a classic Daisy cocktail mixes three main ingredients – sugar, lemon and sparkling. However, over the years, bartenders have added grenadine and various different sweeteners to the equation for balance and a unique flair. Erik Lorincz, the head bartender of The Savoy Hotel in London, created the Savoy Daisy with the intentions of including a dense & molasses-based sugar to compliment an elegant & aged rum. Not only does a beautiful & tall martini glass favor The Savoy Daisy but it’s ruby red color is also bound to make it an attraction in any bar setting.
